Drum Sander Top Building a drum sander has always been very simple. It's basically just a box with a lid. It's very important that this lid is just flat and smooth to achieve optimum performance from your drum sander. These tops are all pre-cut and made from MDF with laminate on both sides. Additional support under the top may be added to keep the top from flexing when a power feeder is used. Infeed and outfeed tables can be added when using longer material.



Drum Sander Video Instructions Building your drumsander has now become very easy. Just play one of these videos and follow the steps to build your drumsander. The video shows how to build a custom top and box for the drumsander and comes with a check list of all the parts that you will need along with all the dimensions of the pieces that will be used. Pre-Cut Drum Box This kit contains 8 pieces of pre-cut and predrilled 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood which may be easily assembled using hardware you provide. A list of hardware required is included.



Hook and Loop Stearate Paper Rolls This Stearate coated aluminum oxide paper backed roll, is primarily sold for our "V" Drum Sander. It is the same outstanding material as our hook and loop discs. Get the finish you desire without your paper loading up. 4-1/2" can be used on 1/4 sheet and 1/2 sheet sanders.

Low Profile Pillow Block Bearings Complete with locking collar. Compact size allows drum diameter to clear bearing. 1/2" for 18" drum, and 12" & 5/8" for the 24" and 30" drum.



Motor Arbour Adapters Allows you to adapt a Sanding Mop, buffing wheel, etc. onto the end of an extended drum or electric motor. Locks into place with allen screws. MO1003 and MO1004 are extra long motor arbour adapters that allow you to spin accessory farther away from motor.



Flexible Coupling Allows shaft to attach directly to motor. Locks into position with the use of allen screws.



Hook & Loop Faceplate Use as a disc sander on the end of an extended drum or attach to an electric motor. Just slide onto shaft, lock it in place with the allen screws and instanly you've created your own 8" hook and loop disc sander.



Keyless Chuck Slides onto a shaft and instantly creates a new place for drill bit, Sanding Mop, etc. Locks into position with allen screws.


Fence Making Packages These kits provide you with the hardware required to make a set of fences. Each package comes with 4 pcs. 3/8" x 2" T-bolts and 4 pc. 3/8" through knobs.



Mitre T-Track Fits standard mitre guage or can be used with T-Bolts. Great for making your own fences and jigs.



MDF Fence Pieces Make your own fences or jigs with this 1-1/8 " thick, MDF.



Knobs All Knobs are in packages of 5. Works great for building your own fences and jigs. The 3/8" female size is the most popular and works with the 3/8" T-Bolts.



T-Bolts All T-Bolts come packaged in 5pc. We recommend the use of the 3/8" bolts. This particular size thends to be more durable and thread much faster. As well, this size goes with the 3/8" female knobs.
